In 1967, French designer Pierre Paulin challenged the prevailing rationalism by imagining a seating system characterised by sinuous, organic lines. Developed for the 1970 Osaka International Exhibition and re-edited today by LaCividina, the Osaka sofa allows endless solutions to be created by simply placing its straight or curved elements side by side.
